Construction Estimator (Railway Track)

Our client is involved in major capital and infrastructure projects across Canada and has been tremendously growing their team within the last few years.

As they foresee continuous growth potential and moving on to another phase of the project, they are seeking to fill a Construction Estimator role who would take part in continuously developing their group into a more competitive and collaborative team of experts in their own chosen field. 

CONSTRUCTION ESTIMATOR (RAILWAY TRACK) - Toronto based opportunity and client is open to relocate the right candidate.

Requirements:
-Holds a university degree or technical college diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
-8+ years of hands-on experience in estimating projects of significant scale and complexity, with focus across diverse scopes (civil, structures, track, stations).
-RAILWAY TRACK experience is a must.
-Proficient in reading, interpreting, and comprehending complex construction drawings and blueprints.
-In-depth understanding of construction methodologies, contracts, and cost control techniques.
-Advanced proficiency in standard Microsoft software (Excel, Word, etc.), with additional experience in Adobe, Visio, and Bluebeam.
-Exceptional interpersonal skills, including the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
-Outstanding communication abilities and impeccable attention to detail.
-Proven leadership capabilities to guide and inspire teams toward outstanding results.
-Impeccable time management and organizational skills, ensuring efficiency in time-sensitive situations.
-A results-oriented mindset with an unwavering commitment to quality and excellence
