Summary of position and requirements:
• The Construction Manager shall possess a degree in the requested discipline and a minimum of 10 years of field construction experience with site civil, civil engineering, and construction management project experience.
• Individuals shall have experience with utilities, drainage, earthwork, site work, irrigation, contract documents, submittals, RFIs, and considerable overlap with other construction trades, i.e. architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, irrigation, landscaping, hardscaping.
• Construction Managers possessing significant field experience and inspection knowledge (a minimum of 20 years) will be considered for qualification without a degree. Experience with Tririga may be rated higher.
• The individual for the Construction Manager position should have Federal Agency Major Construction of buildings, utilities, or civil projects.
• The individual shall have demonstrated experience with multiple projects of comparable size and complexity, and familiarity with RFIs, Submittals, Construction Plans and Specifications, 3 phase inspections, CPM P6 schedules and safety requirements from OSHA and EM 385-1-1.
• Individuals shall understand the role of owner, architect-engineer, contractor, and subcontractor relationships.
