This position offers the unique opportunity to participate in the creation of a new business pillar within an established, state of the art, manufacturing facility!
Responsibilities Include:
• Maintain in-house software and ERP systems and processes, involving elements of development, integration, design and testing
• Implement the necessary connections among the different business applications like; CRM, CPQ, ERP, etc.
• Write operational documentation as well as research, design, write, and test plans
• Provide employee training and development on the effective use of the CPQ/ERP system
• Consult with clients/colleagues concerning the maintenance and performance of software systems, writing or modifying programs when necessary
• Develop reports from existing applications, MS Access, SQL server, and company ERP system (IFS)
• Development of cloud applications, HTML, JavaScript compatibility etc.
• Work with end users to define CPQ/ERP system customizations, create programming specifications and when possible, identify when the base system can be used to avoid customization
• Become fully conversant with all aspects of IFS – New parts creation, BOM generation, technical support etc.
• Continually update technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house or external courses and by reading associated materials
• Maintain positive, progressive, and productive attitude toward plant targets and objectives regarding reliability, accountability, safety, integrity, quality, and productivity as a unified goal
Requirements Include:
• Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• 5+ Years of experience maintaining ERP Systems (IFS preferred)
• Experience with HTML, Javascript, ERP, CPQ, and CRM systems
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including MS Access, Excel, Outlook, Word
Background Check and Drug Screen Required
Due to the nature of the work and the product created, this position may require someone to list up to 50lbs, carry objects over a distance, bend, twist, squat, climb ladders, stand for extended periods of time, use tools requiring manual dexterity, and operate powered industrial equipment.
