Facility Manager

Our Partner, an energy services company offering midstream infrastructure and commercial and transportation solutions across western Canada and the U.S., is in need of a Facility Manager in North Dakota.

Job Purpose

The Facility Manager sets the culture and leads the operational team in a healthy, safe, and environmentally responsible manner, aligned with the corporate vision, mission and values. The role is responsible for all aspects of running a successful business including health and safety, regulatory compliance, sales, operations, finance (including capital planning), human resources and support services.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
• Fostering an environment that promotes the vision and culture of the organization
• Leading the safety culture, specifically aiding in the development and delivery of programs and initiatives to personnel and enforcing safety policies
• Ensuring consistent and cost-effective operations
• Managing operations, administrative and regulatory staff including conducting annual reviews, competency assessment, skill development, performance management, etc.
• Developing and enforcing standard operating procedures, providing training and monitoring staff for compliance
• Ensuring compliance with all government and environmental regulatory standards
• Budget development, active revenue, and cost forecasting/tracking
• Ensuring excellent customer service standards in coordination with Field Sales team
• Evaluating Key Performance Indicators to achieve targets and determine required actions for improvement
• Collaborating with other Facility Managers and General Managers to share and implement best practices

Qualifications / Competencies

• Grade 12 or General Education Diploma (GED)
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in one or more of the following: waste processing, oil treating and/or water injection
• Minimum of 2-5 years of leadership experience in management or a supervisory position
• Valid industry safety certifications
• Strong attention to detail and ability to provide leadership to staff
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to prepare technical reports
• Proficient with Microsoft office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
