Our Partner, an oil and gas manufacturer, is looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to join their team. This is an excellent full-time opportunity located in The Woodlands, Texas.
SUMMARY
The HR Generalist will serve as a business partner, providing professional support in the following areas: recruitment, performance management, training and career development, culture, employee relations, and other human resources initiatives and programs. The ideal candidate will be passionate about talent engagement. We are looking for a nimble learner with the ability to apply strong problem-solving and sound judgement skills. DUTIES:
• Engage employees from Day 1 through the life of their career
• Support recruitment strategies to identify active and passive candidates through various sourcing methods.
• Screen and interview potential candidates to assess qualifications and alignment.
• Understand, develop, and coach employees and managers.
• Work with employees & managers so they understand how they drive value for the company.
• Look for continuous improvement of the People Strategy with emphasis in developing and retaining talent.
• Management of small to mid-size projects including identifying and analyzing preliminary business needs and defining the project scope and objectives.
• Provide assistance and problem-resolution services to employees and managers guided by company's policies, labor-law legislation, and state and federal requirements.
• Investigate questions and/or complaints; resolving employee relations issues and using each complaint/issue as opportunity to understand the true root cause and develop a plan to resolve it.
• HRIS system maintenance and day to day employee administration.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university and 3-5 years of human resources experience, within a generalist capacity.
• Experience in proactive, cold calling, networking, and passive recruiting roles.
• Must demonstrate an ability to interview candidates and assess their capabilities of fitting in with the organization and position.
