TRS Craft Services has an immediate need for Warehouse with Inventory Control experience in Worcester, Massachusetts with experience in accurate cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy. This position is a temp to perm assignment.


About the Role
This individual must have experience in monitoring and maintaining records of materials in inventory. This position will work in the day to day operations for Inventory Control. Responsible for reconciling discrepancies in inventory and notifies supervisor. Works in warehouse and assigned work team on a shift basis conducting inventory counts, reporting data results, assisting with research and reconciling inventory discrepancies. Models and acts in a manner consistent with our guiding principles and core values.

What you will do (Essential Functions)
• Assist with operational competencies across Inventory functional areas
• Perform accurate cycle counting to ensure inventory accuracy
• Work with a team to complete inventory projects
• Research and reconcile inventory discrepancies as needed
• Participate with physical inventories in accordance with the company’s requirements, investigates inventory variances, daily/weekly cycle counts and adjusts inventory records if necessary
• Work effectively so that the cycle counts are completed in a timely and accurate manner
• Perform root cause investigations of inventory discrepancies and suggest corrective actions
• Provides communication and suggests inventory improvements to management
• Performs routine clerical, including but not limited to data entry and assisting other departments
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
• Perform audits during cycle counts and escalate any deviation of inventory processes to management.
• Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all material handling equipment
• Maintain a clean; neat, and orderly work area; ensure all security policies and procedures are followed

• Participate in regularly scheduled meetings with the teams to cascade messages through the assigned functional area of responsibility

Administrative operations
• Follow EHS guidance provided by EHS/Compliance department for a safe work environment, driving a safety and compliance (lead by example)

Who you are (Qualifications)
• Warehouse: 2 years (Preferred) experience directly related to inventory counting the duties and responsibilities specified
• Problem-solving and analytical ability
• Experience with Warehouse Management System
• Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills
• Outstanding ability to build and maintain team cohesiveness
• Interest in continuous learning and desire to stay current on industry trends
• Adaptable / Flexible - open to change in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances
• Able to perform business math (basic algebra, compute rate, ratio, etc.)
• Demonstrated success managing inventory, including auditing
• Able to work independently with some direction
• Organizational skills, with ability to manage competing priorities
• Knows way around Microsoft Excel, and Word
