Responsibilities Include:
• Managing quality personal in all duties related to the Quality Management system
• Prepare and communicate quality needs for the purpose of quoting and proposals
• Oversee internal audit program as well as all Corrective/Preventive actions and continual improvement activities
• Manage and report on all company metrics and lead communication through Management Review Meetings
• Ensure compliance with ISO 9001 standards
• Manage the supplier quality development process
• Ensure quality conformance at all stages of the fabrication and assembly process, from raw material through to the finished product
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, ensuring conformance to quality and customer requirements
• Drive quality requirements as part of integrated project teams for all programs
• Work with Engineering and Production groups to develop Control Plans and FMEA’s
• Collaborate with Supply Chain to qualify, audit and develop supply base
• Create inspection plans for incoming and outgoing material inspection
• Organize and submit PPAP documentation to customers, review and approve supplier PPAP documentation
• Champion teams to perform problem solving activities and complete 8D process
• Other related duties as required by leadership
Requirements Include:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering preferred, Associate’s minimum required
• Required 3+ Years of experience in a comparable quality management role
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Strong organizational and communication (both verbal and written) skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, provide follow up, and shift priorities as needed while working on multiple programs concurrently.
• The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints
• The ability to initiate, plan, and manage a plant-wide quality process
