Top candidates will have the following experience:
1.) ASNT Certification (not valid if through an employer)
2.) Must come from NAVSEA or Nuclear facility
3.) 5-10+ recent years experience
Other Job Description Functions/Responsibilities:
• Develops and implements new or improved Quality systems and procedures.
• Updates and maintains all quality documentation.
• This includes control and maintenance of HFR policies, procedures, instructions and forms.
• Conducts ongoing quality planning and improvement programs.
• Works directly with all levels of organization to keep them informed of quality trends.
• Provides reports and recommendations based on current or anticipated quality conditions.
• Works with Operations Staff on new and process development, changes and concerns.
• Works with sales and production departments on all issues that affect product quality.
• Leads efforts to conduct ongoing audits of all systems to ensure adherence to quality policies and procedures as well as customer specifications.
• Directs and controls activities for all phases of the quality organization including Inspection, First Article Sampling, and Calibration.
• Trains and counsels all quality personnel to develop their technical ability, product knowledge, and work ethics.
• Fully knowledgeable on job requirements and performance expectations for the QA Manager position and all reporting positions.
