General Description:

Establish production schedules to support sales requirements through planning, coordinating, and expediting as necessary the flow of work and materials within or between departments of the company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

 Establish weekly production schedules for several production lines
 Process production orders and communicate with production leaders
 Manage inventory by minimizing inventory costs through analysis of lead times, sales requirements, and input from purchasing of economic order quantities
 Review safety stock levels and lead times, adjust as necessary
 Review and process Engineering Change Notifications with the goal of balancing inventory to minimize cost / mitigate obsolete inventory
 Investigate and correct inventory errors
 Prepare manufacturing paperwork
 Actively contribute to lean / visual management projects
 Provide key inputs for PFEP (Plan for Every Part)

Qualifications:

 Ability to work under deadlines
 Experience with MRP/ERP systems and proficient MS Excel user
 Able to analyze reports/data and translate to an action plan
 Excellent communicator
 Detail oriented; self-starter; tenacious
 SAP knowledge preferred, CPIM is a plus

Education:

 Bachelor degree in Business or Supply Chain Management
