TRS Staffing is seeking an experienced Controls Engineer for an expanding Production Automation Provider in Greenville, SC.PROFICIENCY IN THE FOLLOWING AREAS DESIRED:• RS Logix 5, 500, 5000 • RS View Studio • Robotics Programming - FANUC, ABB • Motion Control Programming • Cognex Vision Programming• NFPA 70, 70E, 79, • AutoCadPOSITION REQUIREMENTS:• Minimum Associates or Technical Degree required (AS, BSEE, BSEET)• 8-10 Years of experience - Encompassing experience and education• Ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment with little supervision.• Ability to work as part of a team or independently when necessaryPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:• Review new projects including proposals and job specifications and resolve inconsistencies.• Review customer specifications and standard practices - inclusive of the internal hardwired and logic standards, general specifications, and scope of work.• Generate a sequence of operations.• Review cycle time studies and dimensional layouts. • Generate design packages including wiring diagrams, PLC programs, HMI programs, Motion Control programs, Robot programs, and operations manuals.• Design of System Architecture including non-standard material and control panel power requirements and distribution.• Debugging and/or troubleshooting with no additional support• Lead kickoff meetings, design reviews, FAT's, and be the primary electrical customer contact.• Lead installation Crews and be the primary point of contact during installation.Background Check and Drug Screen RequiredWe appreciate all interest in this position, however only those candidates who most closely match the client's requirements will be contacted to discuss a potential interview.
