Our client is one of the leading consultancy providers to the Infrastructure sector and as a result of new awards, seek Cost Engineers X5 from 3 year's experience right through to Director level, to be based in their Birmingham office.
The successful candidates salary will depend on experience and the range is from £40,000-£65,000 + excellent benefits.
They may consider contract as well.
You will be working on major flagship projects within the Rail and Highways sector.
You must be Earned Value competent, understanding of financial principles and the interface between project cost controls and contract cost controls.
You will have knowledge of the following:
Management of Target Cost Contracts
Preparing Cost Management reports for all asset classes related to highways, rail infrastructure, airports and utility projects throughout the Midlands
Identifying opportunities to improve cost management procedures
Managing estimating and cost planning activities to include taking ownership of and presenting the final cost plan
Applying Value Management techniques at the outset of a project
Pre and Post-contract cost management
Ensuring that cost analysis, cost checking and valuation work is managed effectively.
You must have experience of:
Commercially managing investment projects
Experience of working on Major Programmes and Projects
Experience in leading, managing and motivating teams
