An international integrated chemicals and energy Company is looking for a Data Management Quality Specialist for a role in Houston, Texas. This role will ensure Data Quality Monitoring and Reporting and business needs are delivered to a required standard.
Scope of Work:
This is a global role that requires extensive experience in managing the quality of data analytics and a proven passion for generating value from data analysis. This role will work within and across teams to help create viable Data Quality Management outcomes and liaise with the business to ensure quality implementation of end-to-end Data Cleansing initiatives as well as recommend Preventative Data Quality processes and/or solutions. The role requires a strong knowledge of data quality management and a broad knowledge of existing data mining, analysis, modeling, visualisation techniques, and business acumen.
Core Elements of Job:

•Serve as a liaison with functional groups which create, maintain or use the data, manage relationships, lead planning and execution of data quality initiatives.
•Drive adherence and promote culture of Data Quality and Data Management processes
•Contribute to the development of an enterprise wide data governance strategy
•Provide recommendations to improve analytics and data integrity

Governance:

•Develop and maintain a detailed and comprehensive inventory of data analytics products including data sources, field definitions, calculations, and quality tests.
•Develop and maintain quality metrics to support process improvement.
•Research financial data related anomalies and have direct responsibility for the advancement of new content quality initiatives, including quality assurance test design and implementation, problem escalation and correction procedures.
•Work with Data Modeling team members to design and implement data quality procedures and best practices
•Validate data and research frequency of data elements being reported on both a current and an historical basis

Requirements:

•High User interaction
•Development Skills-Architect and design technical solution-how will it help the user do their design
•Technical Skills
•HANA or Lumira
•SAP
•The ability to hit the ground running
