We currently seek a Process Engineer within our client's team of experienced professionals. Based in the Simpsonville, SC area, you will manage product and process design, standardization and improvement initiatives, promote the technical and problem solving knowledge among the departments and propose and support internal and external (customer related) improvement projects.
Job Description:

•Define product structures.
•Manage process and products technical specifications. Creation and maintenance of product and process standards and inspection systems.
•Perform technical evaluation of new raw materials and inputs.
•Develop improvements for process stabilization.
•Participate in the assessment and solution of customer complains.
•Provide technical support for multifunctional projects and infrastructure improvements.
•Support DWRM by participating in the production department management meetings and activities and supporting the daily treatment of anomalies.
•Develop products by participating in the planning stage, performing critical analysis of the technical viability of the development, coordinating production trials, defining production parameters and conducting process validation and standardization.
•Use PDCA to treat chronical anomalies in production by supporting the operations team to identify root causes, implementing corrective actions, follow-up on the effectiveness of the implemented actions and promoting the update of standard procedures and training for the operations team.
•Use PDCA in improvement projects to meet the company's goals by establishing schedules for the projects, team building, coordinating the project, leading multifunctional teams to promote process improvements and problem solving, training new process engineers in their activities, preparing and delivering trainings for all employees on SPC and problem solving techniques, proposing and conducting process and product improvement projects.
•Support Safety and Quality initiatives and the company Management System.
•Other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

•BS Degree (4 years) in Chemical, Materials, Plastics, Industrial or Mechanical Engineering.
•Knowledge of spunbond process and Reicofil technology desired.
•Desirable experience in Process Engineering.
•Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a rapid paced environment.
•Demonstrates understanding of the customer's needs and how its own actions impact internal and external customers.
•Capacity of prioritizing actions based on relevance and impact.

Background check and drug screen required.
