We are looking for the best and brightest FIELD ENGINEER to join our clients Mechanical Service and Building Automation Systems organization. Within this team, the successful applicant will be responsible for developing business with their existing client base, and securing new customers to their business.

Summary of position:
The Field Engineer position is responsible for performing checkout and troubleshooting of hardware, electrical, DDC and HVAC control systems. It will include preventative maintenance and service of DDC and HVAC control systems.

Requirements / Must haves:
• 3+ years of professional experience with mechanical and electric systems
• OSHA training
• CPR Certified
• LEA or LEB Certification or 06/06A (MUST HAVE)

Job Duties:
• Performs maintenance and commissioning of control systems to ensure proper repair and reconfigure control equipment
• Diagnose communication problems and install control devices and other components, and diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware issues
• Troubleshoot and verify correct operation of equipment and field devices
• Install, replace and re-commission devices, equipment and software
• Work with owners/agents to complete any required systems testing, assist in performing customer jobsite training sessions, and other duties related to the servicing of building controls and facilities management systems as assigned by management
• Document all communications internally and externally with customers through legible and professional emails, service tickets, daily reports, as-builts, commission sheets, etc.
• Assist in training of Service Field Engineers - Entry Level employees in the jobsite setting
• Foster goodwill and teamwork amongst all employees and customers.
