Our client, a global leader in recreational manufacturing is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead their team in the Chesapeake Beach, MD area.

Duties include:
•Maintains the work structure by updating job requirements and job descriptions for all positions.
•Maintains organization staff by recruiting, testing, and interviewing; counseling managers on candidate selection; conducting and analyzing exit interviews; recommending changes.
•Prepares employees for assignments by ensuring orientation and training programs are done by HR Assistants.
•Ensures planning, monitoring, and appraisal of employee work results by training managers to coach and discipline employees; schedules management conferences with employees; resolves employee grievances; counsels employees and supervisors.
•Maintains employee benefits programs and informs employees of benefits by studying and assessing benefit needs and trends; recommends benefit programs to management; directs the processing of benefit claims; obtains and evaluates benefit contract bids with VP of Finance.
•Ensures legal compliance by monitoring and implementing applicable human resource federal and state requirements; conducts investigations; maintains records; represents the organization at hearings.
•Maintains management guidelines by preparing, updating, and recommending human resource policies and procedures.
•Maintains historical human resource records by using current filing and retrieval system.
•Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional societies.
•Completes human resource operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; follows up on work results.
•Maintains human resource staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees.
•Maintains human resource staff job results by counseling and disciplining employees; plans, monitors, and appraises job results.
•Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
•Oversees payroll processing.
•Administers onboarding, performance and benefit portals.

Qualifications & Requirements:
Qualified candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and 5+ years of related experience and relevant education are preferred. Superior time management skills, multitasking skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks with minimal supervision are essential. Must have strong verbal skills and the ability to communicate professionally. Candidates must posses a strong command of Microsoft Office products and superb interpersonal skills in addition to being a team player and detail oriented with minimal error. Must be able to work independently, maintain filing systems and basic databases, and gather and analyze information skillfully.
