IM Technical Data Resource (SAP) - Business Systems
An international integrated chemicals and energy Company is looking for an IM Technical Data Resource in Houston, Texas. This is a 6 month contract role with option to extend. This position reports to the IM Mega Project Data Lead and is located in Houston, TX. Below are details of the position requirements.
Position Responsibilities:

• Data transition between Business Systems as used here includes most of the SAP ERP suite, SmartPlant, Meridium, LIMS, CDS, Enablon, Microsoft tools, Livelink and other complementary systems.
• Will advise and facilitate data migration and conversion efforts with project resources, direct full-time and Part-Time resources. This complement will vary during the project phases.
• Candidate will be responsible for guiding and facilitating Data migration and load strategies through execution accommodating systems delivery supporting commissioning schedule of a large EPC construction project (US Mega Project)
• Will interact with global and cross-functional, cross-Business Unit stakeholder groups.
• Will engage internationally with Sasol's subject matter experts across regions and time-zones as required.
• Will engage with the US Mega Projects (USMP) Construction and Engineering teams and the Integrated Project team as required.
• Will engage with Sasol's IM teams for both Master data needs as well as End of Job Documentation.
• Interface to the ERP package vendors and the Systems Integrator.
• Executing Data delivery for integrated and coordinated projects, to deliver the successful development, testing and handover of fully functional, integrated fit-for-purpose Business systems and associated technology.
• Support efforts to ensure that the delivered systems are developed, tested (FAT, SAT, SIT and UAT) and handed over according to the agreed schedule, budget and quality criteria.
• Support efforts to ensure the delivered systems align the business processes of the new plants and business units while eliminating unnecessary costs.
• Support efforts to ensure that the Business systems projects are aligned to and support the broader USMP objectives and delivery plan, and that the resulting systems and their delivery build on both, regional (US) and global Sasol IM standards, solutions and support models.
• Coordinate and execute data delivery supporting Business systems project delivery process so as to align with and comply with the Global IM Project Management Office standards and processes.
• Demonstrated Sequel Server Programming ability required
• Ability to develop LSMW routines required
Experience and/or Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• Recent Data Delivery experience in a large greenfield EPC construction program
• 6+ years' experience working with manufacturing execution systems
• Experience in technical leadership and delivery positions with matters of Master Data and End of Job Documentation and Data
• Experience with multiple Full lifecycle SAP deployments
• Demonstrated experience in leading and facilitating Data migration and conversion strategies from EPC to client SAP platform, including facilitation of data reconciliation and population
• Demonstrated experience in assisting companies through mange efforts supporting significant size and scale changes as well as preparing for best practices data Governance processes
• Demonstrated ability to detail plan data delivery for business unit and organizational structure expansion within a mature system
• Experience in, or exposure to, the management and/or support of SAP systems in an operational environment is a plus
• Experience working with of for an EPC company is a plus.
• Petrochemical Industry or related Industry experience is a plus
