Job Description:
We currently seek a Night Shift Maintenance Technician within our client's team of experienced professionals. This position contributes to the success of manufacturing and warehousing by troubleshooting, installing, maintaining, and repairing, process equipment, physical structures, piping and electrical systems.

Job Duties:

•Schedule: Sun, Mon, Tues Night 7pm - 7am for two weeks, then Wed, Thurs, Fri Night 7p-7a for two weeks and then one week off and back to Sun, Mon, Tues.
•Overtime available up to a reasonable amount.
•Utilize CMMS to log daily work hours; including projects, repairs, PMs, housekeeping, and attaching used parts to work orders, PM's, and projects, ect. Categorize work properly utilizing pre-programmed work fields, filling out all necessary fields including employee, hrs., downtime, date, and notes. Utilize software for work history reports, location of new electronic request, current scheduled work, scheduling new work, upcoming PMs, spare quantities and locations.
•Use Microsoft office applications for updating of downtime reports, developing break down and equipment improvement reports. Assist in updating and writing of standardized work instructions.
•Troubleshoots and maintains pneumatic, hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems. That includes PLC's, Remote I/O, process valving, load cells, controllers, proximity sensors, cylinders, and robots
•Installs, programs, or repairs automated machinery and equipment such as robots or programmable controllers.
•Performs PM's as scheduled and to set maintenance standards, utilizes philosophies of 5S, Kiazen, 5 why, and lean manufacturing.
•Coordinates repair times, procures parts in performing planned work; including quoting, ordering of parts, outsourcing of labor, and managing projects, ensures shift responsibilities are completed; including reports, turnovers, and safety issues.
•Dismantles machines or equipment, replacing defective parts and motors, and adjusting feed mechanisms
•Bends and cuts conduit and wire, and drills holes in walls, floors, and ceilings for electrical connections.
•Connects wire to motors, fixtures, and other electrical equipment, replaces switches and fuses, and splices wire and insulates wire with friction tape.
•Bends, cuts, threads, glues pipe, cuts openings in walls, ceilings, and floors for pipes, and seals pipe joints with sealing compound.
•Repairs and maintains physical structure of establishment.
•Clears clogged drains, and replaces plumbing fixtures.
•Sets up and operates machine tools such as lathe, grinders, drills, and milling machine to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, and tools.
•Operates cutting torch or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.
•Cleans work area, tools, and equipment
•Performs other routine duties.


Job Requirements:

•One year certificate from college or technical school required; Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two-year College or Technical school desired; or 3 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
•To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
•Experience with a CMMS System, as well as Microsoft Office Products
•Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
•Must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and on occasion up to 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
