A top tier global OEM located about 40 minutes northwest of Chicago is seeking a Parts Manager to lead their team. This role is responsible for the operations of Parts Sales Dept., including Parts system and warehouse. Also, they help to establish the activity plan of Parts Sales to achieve the target goals, as well as policies and procedures for the department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Establish & maintain good customer relations • Support the Parts Dept. team in daily operations and solve problems when presented • Create an annual Action Plan for Parts Sales expansion • Establish policies and procedures for the Parts dept. • Price set up for the parts, price level control based on the formula level • Improve the work efficiencies for the parts dept. • Manage and keep the targeted action plan and maintain the budget • Plan and provide training as needed to new hires and current employees • Follow up with service website and verify all documents are filled out accurately • Assist with parts discrepancies or parts claims to company for approval • Find ideas to promote our products and increase parts sales • Work with Suppliers relating to inventory, pricing, and voice any international or customer concerns. • Work with international distributors and OEM's to increase part business sales. • Authorize both distributors and OEM annual parts returns. • Work with new Inventory Advisor forecasting system starting • Perform other assignments as assigned by company management. Requirements: • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing and/or automotive industry • 2 years of supervisory experience • Customer service experience • Knowledge of Parts Management system • Proficient in Excel, Word and Powerpoint, • Knowledge of Sage and or AS-400 IBM System
