Our client is one of the leading consultancy providers to the Infrastructure sector and as a result of new awards, seek Project Managers X5 from 3 year's experience right through to Director level, to be based in their Birmingham office. The successful candidates salary will depend on experience and the range is from £40,000-£65,000 + excellent benefits.
Yyou will be working on major flagship projects with the Rail and Highways sector.
As an experienced Project Manager you will have the ability to operate effectively within a co-located environment with the Client's, Consultant's and Contractor's project delivery teams.
In the role you will:
Deliver assigned projects to meet client requirements and achieve business outcomes
Provide direction and supervision to assigned Project Managers and supporting staff, in accomplishing agreed project objectives
Identify and manage issues, risks and interfaces between assigned projects and other interfacing activities
Plan and manage procurement of resources for effective and efficient use across multiple projects
Analyse performance, implementation, and commercial data; make decisions where appropriate, or provide recommendations
To drive exceptional delivery, health & safety, commercial, risk management and quality performance on infrastructure projects throughout the project lifecycle.
Manage Projects in the £1m to £100m range as a standalone project or as part of major programmes of work.
Training and Experience:
The ideal candidates are likely to be degree qualified in a construction or engineering related discipline
Candidates should possess formal project management qualifications, or should be working towards them
Experience of project delivery through all stages of the lifecycle
Experience of NEC forms of contract will be a distinct advantage
Experience of working in the Rail or Highways sector is essential.
Excellent communication skills with Clients and design team members.
