Job details

• Possesses skills necessary to perform routine tasks on a variety of processes.
• Participates in the physical transfer of material, material packing, and routine maintenance functions including safety checks, changing batteries, and forklift inspection.
• Diagnoses and resolves discrepancies between logical and physical accounts using transfer order and production order histories, stock overviews, and storage bin information within SAP.
• Occasionally provides training and mentoring to less experienced material handlers.

Required:
• High School Diploma
• Associate Degree or higher preferred
Required:
• More than 5 years warehouse experience, plus experience with cycle counting programs and bin analysis preferred.
• More than 3 years general warehouse experience in inventory control and physical and logical materials management acceptable.
Required:
• Must be fully competent in safety, troubleshooting, and problem solving.
• Must have basic competence in project management, decision making, and organizing / planning.
• Must be fully competent in oral communication, and team building, and participation.
• Must have basic competence in written communication.
• Must be fully competent in inventory control, logical materials management, inventory reconciliation skills, and traffic control.
• Must have advanced skills in physical materials management.
Position is in a clean room manufacturing facility which produces medical device and wound care products. Employee may be required to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, reach and walk short distances to complete job tasks. Use of proper safety equipment is required when in manufacturing or warehouse areas, including but not limited to safety glasses and safety shoes.
