Environmental Technician

The Opportunity

Our client, an International industry leader in the Environmental Consultancy sector is looking for an Environmental Technical Support Specialist to join their team in Grande Prairie to work on projects within Western Canada. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to further progress their careers within environmental sciences and regulatory projects. The ideal candidate would have 4 previous years’ experience in the industry, with knowledge of current provincial and federal legislation

As an individual within the environmental industry you will have strong understanding of Forestry, agriculture and the oil field industry with exposure to Tier I & II lifecycles on projects, including Phase I & II Rec. Rem applications and reporting (RCA’s). In this role you will be responsible for supporting the Project Managers and their portfolio’s; Tasks, surface locations, contamination, site reclamation and planning activities etc.

Qualifications
• Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science with equivalent work relevancy
