Project Manager, Environmental

The Opportunity

Our client, an International industry leader in the Environmental Consultancy sector is looking for a Project Manager to join their team in Grande Prairie to work on projects within Western Canada. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to further progress their careers within environmental sciences and regulatory projects. The ideal candidate would have previous experience in the industry, with knowledge of current provincial and federal legislation in site assessment processes. This role will be mostly office based with time in the field.

Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager your experience will have full cycle project management in accordance and execution of accurate estimation, budgets, surveying, contracts, drawings and specifications while ensuring the utmost goal in safety, cost, productivity, scheduling, quality control and assurance.
Your scope will be responsible for developing project plans for projects in remediation, pre-reclamation assessments, vegetation monitoring, site maintenance, full reclamation earthworks, and detailed site assessments to manage the client portfolio. Preference to consulting on brownfield, urban, agriculture, municipal projects as this role will grow into other areas of business.

Qualifications
• Degree/ Diploma in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science with equivalent work relevancy.
• 5-8+ years of relevant Project Management experience; PMP is an asset but not required
