TRS Craft Greenville has a client in the Williamston/Anderson South Carolina area that has openings for the following:
Machine Operators-2nd shift
Pay Rate: $13.50
Position Summary
This position is responsible for assembling and checking product parts, and ensuring that all machinery runs smoothly, and assisting in the preparation for distribution.
Position Responsibilities- Essential
Observe continuous operation of automatic machines to ensure that products meet specifications
Measure and visually inspect product for surface and dimension defects
Manual documentation of faulty parts
Inventory and record quantities of materials and finished products, requisitioning additional supplies as necessary
Unload finished products from conveyor belts, pack them in containers, and place containers in warehouses
Ensure quality control of materials and finished products
Entering needed information into the ERP System
Follow job safety guidelines in the workplace
Uses safety procedures for production tools (a knife, screwdriver buttons and assembly assistant device etc.)
Follow detailed work instructions, assembly instructions, and packing instructions
Report problems with quality, processes, equipment and materials to Production Supervisor
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Maintains a clean and organized work area to facilitate manufacturing functions
Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Position Responsibilities- Non-Essential/Other
Communication skills, team player, attention to detail, organizational and problem solving skills
Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
Essential Skills and Experience
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Ability to stand/walk for up to an 8-hour shift or a flexible working time with any overtime
Good hand to eye coordination
Drive, motivation, and passion for providing excellent customer service
Compliance with all company policies and procedures
Authorization to work in the United States or the ability to obtain the same
Successful completion of pre-employment drug testing and background check
Beneficial Skills and Experience
Previous assembly/production experience preferred but not required
Ability to read and comprehend procedures written in English
Other duties assigned by Supervisor
Prior Automotive experience preferred but not required
