I. SUMMARY:
To help production manager to set & monitor the daily production plan.

II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Set up the shift production schedule.
• Monitor Daimler orders in Nemetris (400, 498, 601 & 626 impulses) to define orders to schedule and prioritization.
• Communicate the production schedule with production & logistics
• Monitor & track daily production and provide feedback to production manager.
• Update production tracking graph with the shifts production (at the end of the shift)
• Work with Logistics to determine if there are material shortages and identify which orders are impacted.
• Batch production orders in Nemetris. Batch reorder seats as required in Nemetris.
• Process Blocked Stock transaction for Status 98 seats in SAP
• Prepare daily production schedule and follow-up of Galesburg production lines (transfer business)
• Assist with daily Service Department scheduling
• Data entry as required.
• For special builds, validation testing seats, print picklists and/or bills of materials from Filemaker & create shipping labels for pre-series or special build seats.

IV. QUALIFICATIONS:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to perform transactions in SAP
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

V. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing & assembly processes. The individual will be responsible for leading production team, overseeing the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and executing long term strategic plans. Must be self-motivated and possess well developed leadership skills.
Minimum Requirement:

• High School Education and one to five (1 to 5) years of progressive manufacturing or scheduling experience
• Experience with SAP

VI. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets basic instructions and required documents. Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instruction and basic directions.
• Ability to write work instructions and other procedures as needed.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.

VII. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics.

VIII. REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
• Ability to solve problems as they arise.
