To help production manager to set & monitor the daily production plan.
II. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Set up the shift production schedule.
Monitor Daimler orders in Nemetris (400, 498, 601 & 626 impulses) to define orders to schedule and prioritization.
Communicate the production schedule with production & logistics
Monitor & track daily production and provide feedback to production manager.
Update production tracking graph with the shifts production (at the end of the shift)
Work with Logistics to determine if there are material shortages and identify which orders are impacted.
Batch production orders in Nemetris. Batch reorder seats as required in Nemetris.
Process Blocked Stock transaction for Status 98 seats in SAP
Prepare daily production schedule and follow-up of Galesburg production lines (transfer business)
Assist with daily Service Department scheduling
Data entry as required.
For special builds, validation testing seats, print picklists and/or bills of materials from Filemaker & create shipping labels for pre-series or special build seats.

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
V. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Employee must have working knowledge of manufacturing & assembly processes. The individual will be responsible for leading production team, overseeing the continuous improvement of the manufacturing process and executing long term strategic plans. Must be self-motivated and possess well developed leadership skills.
High School Education and one to five (1 to 5) years of progressive manufacturing or scheduling experience
Experience with SAP
VI. LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Ability to read, analyzes, and interprets basic instructions and required documents. Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instruction and basic directions.
Ability to write work instructions and other procedures as needed.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram or schedule form.
