A top tier global Tier 1 Supplier to OEMs is seeking an Account Manager about 20 miles north of Detroit to handle acquisitions and sales activities and act as liaison between customers and the internal organization.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Create Sales proposals for the customers.
• Communicate all customer requirements with regard to engineering, pricing, performance design, manufacturing and quality control to co-workers in US, and internationally. Communicate all Sales proposals, engineering reports, data, and inquiries to customers.
• Seek new business and maintain/expand current business for specific divisions
• Help create customer product strategy and tactics.
• Negotiate engineering and commercial solutions with customers. Facilitate further communication with customer and client.
• Investigate the market prices and competitor's pricing for equipment.
• Helping to create successful pricing for parts to expand sales and profits.
• Learn the technical background about turbo parts, boosted engines and related technical information.
•Maintain a list of active/open customer issues and keep the company informed as to current status of all projects. Prepare reports, maintain records, and organize files concerning Client turbos and customer's activities/engine information. Prepare reports as required by management.
• Promote sales of products through meetings and presentations.
• Perform market research and customer visits to locate and identify potential new business.
• Work with Sales Manager to propose targets for the department.
• Travel domestically and internationally to customers and manufacturing sites.
• Complete work assignments within allotted time frame for current projects.
• Support co-workers activities as required.
• Assist management in developing and negotiating customer contracts.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.

Requirements:
• 2-5 years of experience in sales or engineering within the automotive or related industry.
• BSc in Business or Engineering
• Ability to work well under time deadlines and pressure.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
