TRS is seeking an experienced Accounting Analyst for a Direct-Hire position in Anderson, SC!

Responsibilities Include:
• Provide financial, administrative and clerical services in order to ensure effective, efficient and accurate financial and administrative operations
• Support the accounting department in the areas of accounts receivable, posting receivables and payments, creating and analyzing aging and discrepancy reports, reconciling sales orders with deliveries and payments and post the entries in the accounting system.
• Heavy use of pivot tables in Excel to accomplish reconciliations of data
• Posting entries in a general accounting software and working with other departments and the customer to clarify debits and discrepancies with payment
• Assist with managing customer inquiries with regards to invoicing
• Other duties as assigned by management (e.g. benefits administration)

Requirements Include:
• 2 or4 year higher education degree with emphasis on accounting
• 3-5 years solid accounting experience, preferably in A/R or A/P in a manufacturing environment
• Experience with BMW Evaluated Receipts Settlement Process (i.e. issuance of credit notes, debits and subsequent payment based on shipping packing slip) highly preferred
• Mastery with Excel and general accounting software (Pivot Tables a must)
• Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and financial reports
• Aptitude for numbers with attention to accuracy and detail
• Able to build and maintain good working relationships with customers
• Good organization and time-management skills with ability to file documents and maintain records
