Our client, a leading Industrial Construction company with services Canada wide, is currently recruiting for an Administrative Assistant to join their team in Kitimat, BC. This candidate will be responsible for providing top – quality, non-technical administrative support. This will be a full-time contract position.

In this very exciting role, the qualified candidate will maintain high standards of excellence, while ensuring solid customer relationships. Some duties include assisting in routine administrative details with general department administration, booking meetings and scheduling management.

Job Duties:
- Extract data from databases
- Taking notes during meetings
- Report preparation, presentation, and correspondence
- Planning any specific functions
- General office duties including faxing, mail distribution and creating department files
- Participate in department meetings, training and functions

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of previous large scale industrial construction site administrative experience
- Office Administration certification from a credited institution is preferred
- Basic interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent computer and software skills, including Microsoft Office Suite
- Local BC candidates are preferred
