Branch Manager

Our client, a leading Engineering Consultancy with municipal infrastructure projects, is seeking a Branch Manager to join their team in Calgary, AB. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with business development and consulting within the municipal infrastructure sector and for roads, highways, bridges, as well as other infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be involved with leading the division and engaging in business development activities. Along with this, they will be handling client relationship management for certain projects and working on bids for future projects. The Branch Manager will also be hands-on in mentoring and coaching the division team, engaging in staff planning, and determining the strategic direction of the division.

Other responsibilities will include developing the long-term and annual strategic company plan, ensuring financial targets are being met, and the selected candidate will be responsible for quality management.

Qualifications

- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related education

- 10+ years of experience within a similar capacity in engineering and consulting

- 5+ years of experience in project management

- Must have previous experience working in a strategic management position leading a division

- Must have P.Eng designation or P.Tech

- Outstanding communication skills – written and verbal
