Our client is seeking an experienced Building Maintenance person with HVAC Certification or Millwright Certification to join the team on Day Shift.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

•Performs complex diagnostics, repairs, calibrations, modifications, and routine service on a wide variety of facilities, building equipment, systems, structures, and hardware, including air handlers, domestic water, chilled water, hot water, steam, humidification, building exhaust, compressed air, controls, lighting, electrical, security systems, fire systems, etc..
•Completes preventive maintenance (PMs) and client or proactive work orders.
•Implements standard trade practices and procedures (using appropriate safety precautions) for routine maintenance.
•Complies with all safety requirements and programs.
•Other duties as assigned.
Ideal candidate will produce workmanship, including safety, quality, cost, and schedule, commensurate with (1) or more of the following trades: HVAC, Millwright.
Education & Experience
•High school diploma or general equivalency degree (GED).
•3 years of Industrial or Commercial experience.
•Knowledge and experience of facilities systems (chilled water, compressed air, steam, domestic hot and cold water) and equipment (including HVAC, pumps, piping, valves, pneumatics, controls, motors, electrical up to 600 volts / 3 phase, heat exchangers, and air compressors).
•Ability to read and interpret building layouts, system drawings and manufacturers' equipment specifications.
•Knowledge of standard and specialized maintenance practices.
Language Skills
•Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, correspondence, memos, and technical service bulletins.
•Ability to write detailed and concise correspondence.

Contract to hire after 6 months to a year.
