Our client, a medium-sized employee owned North American engineering consulting company, is seeking a Business Development Manager, Geotechnical to join their team in Calgary, Alberta. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with traditional geotechnical engineering, business development and marketing activities.
As the Business Development Manager , the ideal candidate will be utilizing their analytical skills to execute project management scope, schedule and budget compliance. Along with this, they will be responsible for establishing client relationships and engaging in advanced geotechnical field investigations and analyses.
- You will have a minimum of 10-15 years of experience
Degree in Civil Engineering and possibly a graduate level degree
Experience with Modelling Software
Ability to lead, manage and mentor.
Being a consulting practice we are looking for an excellent communicator who will be strong with client relations with proven Business Development abilities.
Diverse geotechnical experience in areas such as: roadways, dams, hydropower, tailings dam design, pipeline, retaining walls and foundations, slope stability
Experience with project planning, workload estimation and scheduling
Ability to travel within North America
Outstanding Communication skills - both verbal and written. You will be very client facing and excited about further developing the engineering practice of the company
