FUNCTION: CAD 3D OPERATOR
DISCIPLINE: PIPING
LOCATION: AFUNGI SITE, MOZAMBIQUE
ROTATION: RESIDENT IN ASIA 90/21; RESIDENT IN WESTERN EUROPE 75/21
WORK SCHED: 10 HOURS A DAY 6 DAYS A WEEK
DURATION: CONTRACT (12 MONTHS RENEWABLE)
SALARY: MARKET RELATED

"TRS is looking for experienced CAD 3D Operators with Oil & Gas Industry experience to join our well established international Client on the Mozambique LNG Project based at Afungi Site, Mozambique."

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• 3D CAD (SP3D) Administrator will support the Lead Piping Engineer (LE) and undertake the duties regarding SP3D related work for the Lead Engineer of the Project.
• Set-up and maintain project environment in SP3D;
• Set-up and maintain reference database for SP3D by Smart Plant Reference Data;
• Prepare piping ISO and GA drawing as product;
• Prepare MTO interface file for Smart Plant Materials as product;
• Prepare Clash Check and various kinds of reports and model review file for checking quality of 3D models;
• Execute other data administration work;
• Instruct and coordinate piping designer and SP3D operator;
• Coordinate and/or negotiate with clients, vendors and other discipline engineers for SP3D related problem/s.

QUALIFICATION AND SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited BTech /Diploma qualification and a minimum of 3 years or more proven work related experience in support work in actual project using SP3D (another piping design software).
• Knowledge of Smart Plant Reference Data for SP3D spec/catalogs.
• Knowledge of EPC projects for oil/gas processing plants.
• Knowledge of basic piping design.
• Knowledge of CAD application such as Microstation, AutoCAD and other related software.
• Knowledge of SQL (Microsoft SQL Server and Oracle);
• Good English communication skills;
• Knowledge of standard international styles of business communication and experience in the preparation of business and technical documentation.
