This role will be working remotely with some travel to the clients offices in Hamburg when restrictions are lifted.
Job description:
- The role is reporting to the Bid Manager or Project Manager.
- Delivers the case book including all cost assumptions from engineering procurement and risk management to the project management team.
- Works very closely with the project director, the financial project manager and investment team to optimise the bid assumptions.
- Challenges and compares the assumptions of the project with other projects and markets.
- Act as an interface between the technical and commercial teams.
- Work with and develops a strong working relationship with project Joint Venture and Consortium partners to manage the case book and cost assumptions in a timely and sensitive manner.
- Understands the connection between the case book and financial model while having the understanding to understand what is in case book and cost assumptions
Requirements:
Degree in business or engineering
Proven experience in the offshore industry (min 5 years)
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent knowledge of MS office (Excel)
Proven experience in auction systems
Experience in risk management beneficial
Knowledge of health, safety and environmental legislation;
Fluent English language skills, German and French beneficial
