An international integrated Chemicals and Energy Company is looking for an Organizational Readiness and Change Management Specialist

IM PROJECTS

  • Engage at project kickoff to understand purpose of project (i.e. what problem is trying to be resolved) and who will be affected
  • Actively participate in project meetings to understand people, process and technology changes; be an end user advocate and push back on process or system design that does not appear to be streamlined or easy to follow
  • Develop OCM and Training Strategy with Project Business Lead, which includes:
    • Analyzing stakeholder groups
    • Assist with job role mapping
    • Identifying project risks
    • Determining project critical success factors
    • Creating a communication plan with timelines
  • Developing a training plan, identifying instructors from the business, and determining training timeline
  • Identify areas of confusion or lack of agreement and then facilitate meetings to bring all involved parties together for a solution
  • Write, or assist in writing, communications and have appropriate person send them out
  • Develop training course, process flowcharts, job aids, and participant exercises with little assistance from business and functional teams
  • Participate in system testing to ensure training materials are updated accordingly
  • Plan training logistics – class schedules/locations, send out invites, and ensure sign-in sheets are used
  • Provide support in classroom training sessions

BUSINESS ANALYST:

  • Requires extensive knowledge in standard business processes and how those processes are supported with SAP or other technology (e.g. Warehouse Management, Purchase to Pay, etc.)
  • Provide consultation to business regarding how SAP works and best/standard practice seen at other clients
  • Perform indirect system testing (not a part of official testing scenarios) to find errors or processes not covered
  • Load data to allow class participants to execute training exercises
  • Work directly with business to increase SAP transactional knowledge by explaining data and transactional flow

GENERAL CHANGE MANAGEMENT & TRAINING CONSULTATION:

  • Write/review IM communications to improve readability and ensure main points are covered
  • Work with business to articulate change impacts and plan communications and training
  • Review/edit documentation to ensure its written for the right audience
  • Partner with NA Change Management Lead and Organizational Readiness and Change Manager to promote change practice, develop change strategy and plans, and then execute those plans in an agile environment:
  • Facilitate sponsorship and active engagement of senior leadership
  • Engage in project early as an active team member
  • Drive training on agile methodology
  • Prepare for different possibilities up front
  • Create change plans that can be easily modified and adopted
  • Provide communication in a consistent format/medium without overloading – show progress and include wins/successes
  • Involve line managers where possible to build support
  • Execute a concise/focused training plan to be executed just in time
  • Develop a resistance plan to increase buy-in and adoption
REQUIREMENTS
  • Extensive knowledge in standard business processes and how those processes are supported with SAP or other
  • technology (e.g. Warehouse Management, Purchase to Pay, etc.)
  • Organization Change Management experience a must
  • At least five years in the petrochemical industry.
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office programs, Outlook and SAP
  • Degree Preferred
