We are currently seeking a high caliber Chief Estimator for our client in Montreal, QC.

• Establishing and maintaining an estimated department evaluation procedure.
• Establishing a communication plan for the estimating department.
• Helping to select projects to bid.
• Establishing and coordinating bidding schedule.
• Reviewing pricing and scheduling.
• Liaising with operations in assistance for construction planning and scheduling.
• Reviewing project cost reports.
• Reviewing project to develop win strategy.
• Arranging and managing bid turnover to operations
• Establishing district rate files for labor, equipment and materials.
• Reviewing final cost report with project team and develop for historical information.
• Assisting and preparing fee and risk analysis.
• Conducting post bid review.
• Ability to define project scope, delegate task and maintain profitability projects.

• Professional Engineer with a Civil Engineer License
• 10- 15 years estimating experience
• Management experience with bid team oversight (project engineering, support staff, etc.)
• Expert in process of bids, civil works, highways, bridges, underground works (tunnels) and experienced in Request for Proposal (RFP) and Request for Qualification (RFQ). Expert in pricing, procurement (during bid process) and scheduling.
• Experience using Microsoft Project; Primavera
