Position Summary:
• Reporting to the Lead CSA Engineer, the incumbent will be responsible for generating and/or checking designs on roads (geometric), storm water systems, civil services (water and sewer), concrete structures (building foundations, retaining walls, sumps, etc.) as well as steel structures (conveyors, buildings, roofs, etc.).

Qualifications:
• B.Eng degree in Civil Engineering essential. 5 to 7 Years’ experience in civil engineering projects essential, preferably in the mining environment.

Skills:
• Must be proficient in civil and structural design. Sound communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail/quality. The ability to work independently (must be a self-starter).

Knowledge:
• Engineering design knowledge on roads, concrete and structural steel.

Other Competencies:
• The candidate shall be expected to visit site and needs to be able to independently assess civil works and structures on site.
