In this very exciting role, the qualified candidate will serve as a visionary and strategic leader. Major duties include growing and managing the civil engineering presence in the local market, leading the management of diverse civil engineering projects and mentor a high performing team in achieving continuing success. This candidate will be focused on diversifying and growing services of the company in the engineering sector.
Job Duties:
- Develop new business opportunities and services
- Establish key relationships with key clients, agencies and partners
- Envision, prioritize, and support investments and initiatives that further growth of business, improve client experiences and create competitive advantages
- Assist the Branch Manager in branch operations including business development, workload, staffing, equipment, safety, quality and financial outcomes
- Manage technical, logistical, and financial aspects and carry out engineering design from proposal stage through to commissioning of the work
- Interface with design teams to ensure clients standards are met and engineering services meet or exceed expectations
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of related technical experience
- Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university with strong technical skills
- Registration in good standing as a P.Eng in BC
- Proven ability to attract and retain clients, win projects and consistently provide high quality deliverable on time and on budget.
- Demonstrated business development skills
- Aptitude for leadership, continuous learning, knowledge sharing and relationship building
