Civil Infrastructure Design Director

TRS Staffing is currently looking for Heavy Civil Infrastructure Design Directors for an international heavy civil construction firm based in Vancouver. Our client excels in the conception and completion of some of the biggest infrastructure projects in Canada. The biggest areas of focus for these roles are LRT, roads and/or bridges.

As a Design Director, you will be working on various infrastructure projects. You must have extensive experience in bridge construction and design with the ability to control a project from start to finish. In the Directorial Level, you are also practiced in dealing with clients, sub-contractors and vendors.

Qualifications:
· 8-10+ years of experience in a design leadership capacity working on large heavy civil infrastructure projects
· Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
· P.Eng is a must
· Masters/Advanced degree is an asset
· Previous experience in cost control, budgets and scheduling
· Previous experience in mid-sized to large projects
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
