This person must have prior Waterjet operator experience preferably with a FLOW waterjet.
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and measuring tools such as calipers and scales is a must have.
Prior MRP experience is preferred.

High School Graduate
Experience in running and setting up CNC machining centers.
Able to communicate in English or Spanish with supervisor
CNC/Waterjet operation experience. Nesting experience preferred.
Able to proficiently read measuring instruments (calipers and scales), blueprint and drawings
Able to perform minor edits on both CNC and waterjet machines (speeds, feeds, etc)
General mechanical assembly or fabrication skills
Editing and programming experience on waterjet equipment a plus
Programming experience a plus
Machine parts as instructed by the process router or department supervisor
Able to call up correct CNC/Water Jet programs as indicated by the router.
Select and set up required tooling as called by the program
Able to perform dimensional inspections using, Mylars, Calipers and/or Scales.
Able to read and interpret drawings.
Repair or rework damaged parts if applicable per the instructions of Quality or rework process router
Identify required materials to be machined.

Complete assignments in a timely manner
Be able to follow department manager's instructions as required
Be able to read and understand (English or Spanish) process routers and travelers
Document sign off on all applicable operations
Perform visual in process inspection of product and segregate non-conforming product from production
Verify daily production counts
Assist as required or assigned throughout the facility
Suggest process and manufacturing improvements when and if insufficiencies exist on Opportunity For Improvements (OFI) Forms
Maintain good housekeeping and safety practices as outlined in the Employee Handbook or directed by the Supervisor
