Overview / Responsibilities

We are seeking Senior Construction Manager to join our team in Kuwait. This is 2 year fixed term contract role, starting in May.

Key Responsibilities

• This position will require long term field assignment at the project site for the duration in the Middle East

• The candidate will perform construction management duties including project execution, staff coordination, financial performance and quality control

• This position requires familiarity with industry specific design standards, as well as familiarity with mining, landfill and environmental closure activities related to execution for civil construction, earthworks, HDPE liner and pipe installation, construction contracting, and project management

Skills / Qualifications


• 15years+ experience in oil and gas industry

• Excellent verbal / written communication, problem solving, conflict resolution, and decision making skills;

• Experience working on mining related sites highly preferable if experience in phosphate mining industry

• Commitment to safety;

• Experience in developing and implementing QA / QC programs;

• Extensive experience with construction plans and specifications, and relating that to project scope, schedule, and cost;

• Experience with subcontractor solicitation / procurement support;

• Experience with project planning, permitting support, and project reporting;

• Experience with change management process / scope modifications;

• Liaison between contractors, designers, owners, and end-users;


• CCM and / or PMP certifications preferred;

• BS in Construction Management or other related discipline

• Formal safety training / certification (MSHA / OSHA)
