We are currently looking for a Construction Quality Manager to work as a contractor for our client. Based in Hungary, you will be working for one of the world's leading engineering, procurement & construction companies.
Manages a project quality organization, establishment, and implementation of a multi-discipline quality and/or testing activities in accordance with the project quality program;
Coordinates 3rd party Inspection Agency (Client Inspectors) who perform inspection, surveillance;
Lead in quality related meetings, participate in all others when required;
provides for review and using Client's Inspection Agency approval of these programs;
Ensures that construction contractors submit their quality programs prior to commencing work;
Ensures that the required quality records and documents are properly prepared and maintained;
Conformance to their approved quality program In corporation with Client Inspectors Performs surveillance of contractors to determine their control procedure;
Reviews and assists in the resolution of non-conformance issues;
Controls nonconforming work activities or hardware through the implementation of the nonconformance inadequate controls are in force to ensure compliance with project design requirements;
Advises the Construction Coordinator / Project Manager of construction work activities when of their duties;
Provides specific direction of inspection and testing personnel (Client Inspectors) in the performance plans, as necessary, to maintain inspection continuity;
In corporation with Client Inspectors monitors inspection and test plans implementation and modifies backup data for content, validity and compliance with project requirements;
In corporation with Client Inspectors reviews inspection, resting and surveillance results, including requirements;
In corporation with Client Inspectors reviews site procurement documents for delineation of quality documents;
In corporation with site Document control maintains a file of inspection, examination, and test;
Identify and maintain quality records required for turnover statistics for the period including Closeout report.;
Prepare periodic reports to management summarizing QA/QC activities, concerns, and project quality by Client Inspectors - local authorities) if required;
Represent PMC Team on QA/QC matters in dealing with the Contractors or other parties.
Must have 10+ years experience as QA/QC manager on major within the (petro)chemical and Oil and Gas industry;
Knowledge of the English language is required.
