Contracts Administrator, Architecture

The Opportunity
Our client is currently looking for a talented, highly motivated Contracts Administrator for a position based in Vancouver, BC. This key individual will have extensive experience of full cycle construction and architectural projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities
• Participate in the pre-qualification of bidders including and not limited to; capabilities, capacities and financial risk.
• Strong pre-award, post-award and close out; Full cycle contracts management and working knowledge of building codes, building sciences and construction standards.
• Strong knowledge of contract terms related to project design process, specifications and building systems & codes.
• Administering the request for proposal (RFP) process for contractors; invoice attestation, change orders and compliance
• Strength in contract management, subcontract administration, and/or procurement experience supporting architectural and construction projects
• Prepare, maintain, retrieve and communicate records, costs, schedules, reports and/or documents to meet project requirements
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree in Architecture and/or related education with years of experience
• Knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit; ability to read drawings and project specifications is an asset
