Cost Consultant

TRS is seeking a full time Senior MEP Cost Consultant for an international consulting firm that specializes in the institutional, commercial and infrastructure sectors in Ottawa, ON.

Responsibilities
• Preparing Mechanical/Electrical cost estimates and cost management procedures.
• Assist in Business Development opportunities by researching and working with Directors to construct new work for proposals.
• Prepare Construction Cost Estimate reports at all stages of design for various industries and participate in Life cycle costing, resource forecasting and financial management.
•Managing Cost Variances and process improvements

Qualifications
•10+ years of Cost Control experience
•A university degree in Construction or a related field
•Membership in a relevant professional organizations (i.e. RICS, CIQS, AACEI).
•Certification or designation from a professional organization is an asset (i.e. MRICS, PQS, CCP)
