Technical Designer

Who are we?

TRS Staffing Solutions is a part of Fluor Group and we are responsible for the Project Sourcing of all Fluor projects. In Belgium the focus lies on LTSAs (Long Term Service Agreements) and EPCm projects in Oil&Gas, Energy, Food and Pharma sector. We are currently hiring a Technical Designer for one of our projects where you will be using Smartsketch as your main tool for designing. Experience with this software is not essentially required (a course to learn this software is being provided). 

Who are we looking for?

• Preferably you have a Higher Technical Degree (academic work and intellectual ability)
• Basic knowledge of Mechanical, Piping and/or Civil Engineering
• Interested to work in Oil & Gas, Chemical and an Industrial Environment
• Experience with IT design softwares for 3D/2D modelling (AutoCad 2D/3D)
• Ability to interpret technical drawings; sketches, plot plans, P&ID's...

What will you do?

• Make initial layouts and plans
• Prepare sketches, inspect project area, take field measurements, interpret existing drawing and files..
• Assist in writing specifications for different disciplines
• Research exisiting drawing and files
• Prepare charts, graphs and as-built drawings
