Our client, a leading engineering consultancy, is looking for a Design Manager / Technical Project Manager on a contract or permanent basis to support on a data centre project in Sweden.

About the Role

We’re looking for a seasoned Design Manager / Technical Project Manager with extensive hands‑on experience in leading and coordinating multi-disciplinary design teams. This role will be based full-time in the client office in Sweden.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall design process across all disciplines
Act as the primary design coordinator between consultants, contractors and the client
Manage design strategy, schedule and deliverables and control changes across workstreams
Ensure on-time delivery and alignment with cost plans
Ensure designs comply with local building and permitting regulations
Coordinate with construction and procurement teams to ensure the designs are buildable and scalable
Ensure smooth handover to construction and commissioning

Required Qualifications

Accredited four (4) year degree or global equivalent in applicable field of study and eight (8) years of work-related experience or a combination of education and directly related experience equal to twelve (12) years
Ability to communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders
Job related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious and time-effective manner
