We are in need of two Document Control Analysts for a 6mo. – 1 year assignment.
This is an M-F, 8-5 work schedule working with the Document Control Team within the Reliability Department.
Position Responsibilities:
- Serves as a back-up in supporting other Administrative Staff
- Develops and maintains the systems, workflow and procedures that ensure the data and documents in SAP, Meridium, Sharepoint, SmartPlant and others are accurate and current
- Develops and maintains filing systems in support of Maintenance & Reliability
- Provides administrative assistance on documents, procedures, drawings, vacation tracking, etc. for the Maintenance & Reliability Department
- Oversees retention activities through life cycle of organization's documentation from storage to disposal
- Works closely with customers of Maintenance & Reliability to promote ease of use and credibility of documentation
- Prepares and receives transmittals for incoming and outgoing documents. Acquires all required signatures in sign-off blocks on documents prior to transmittal sign off and distribution
- Maintains the Technical Library for Maintenance & Reliability
- Follows the Document Management strategy for the company along with the policies and procedures that address quality assurance, information standards, and regulations pertaining to Document Management
Experience/Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree plus 0-2 years of experience, or Associates degree plus 3-4 years of experience or High School Diploma or GED, plus 5 years of experience in manufacturing/maintenance administrative support function. .
- Good skills in software such as Access , DMS, SAP, Word, etc. and the ability to learn and use new software
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, manufacturer's literature, diagrams or schematics
- Have good written and oral communication and interpersonal (people) skills
