TRS Staffing is seeking an EHSS Sr. Specialist to work with a leading company in the petrochemical industry.
Role will provide EHSS competency support to the E&PM AMR projects in accordance with all applicable EHSS regulatory and permitting requirements, SHEMs, and E&PM EHSS processes.
Works with E&PM project management teams to prepare required EHSS gating deliverables and all other supporting EHSS work product.
Plans, facilitates, and coordinates internal Client permitting team along with assistance from Environmental third party to secure all project EHSS Pre-construction Environmental permits, licenses and registrations required for execution of construction.
Consults with Project Management Team (PMT) on all applicable SHEMs, EHSS KPI's, tracking, and reporting requirements.
Perform key auditing function on a periodic basis for individual projects. Performs EHSS assessments and prepares reports per the project guidelines.
Plans, facilitates, and leads Client Permitting team with assistance from Environmental third party to secure applicable Environmental Pre-construction permits required for project construction. (Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and Wetlands permits, etc. )
Perform EHSS Reviews per Project Gating system including Environmental Regulatory Analysis and Permitting Requirements, hazards assessment, and Process Safety Management analysis, etc.
Interact with project managers and site EHSS teams to provide early guidance on critical EHSS project design factors. Ensuring that EHSS expectations are clearly understood and that the appropriate resources are provided by project team.
Innovate & Build Site Project EHSS excellence in line with & contributing to industry best practices - Influences & Communicates EHSS best practices to individual project teams.
Coordinate interaction associated with all project teams regarding EHSS requirements and effectively drive results with a global outlook
Perform and be responsible for auditing, oversight, and report preparation required by Client E&PM EHSS processes and systems during the construction phase of projects.
