Job Title: Site E, C&I Supervisor

MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB:
To supervise and control Electrical, Control and Instrumentation (discipline specific) construction execution at Project Site(s) in a manner that meets Global, Location and customer contractual requirements.
To maintain collaborative and close work relationships with the multi-disciplinary Project Site Teams in carrying out the business objectives of the WorleyParsons Construction Unit in a cost-effective manner.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Indicate Key Performance Areas and the estimated percentage of time spent in each area.
KPA % of Time
Ensure Safety and Environmental Compliance Management requirements are met.
Perform Discipline Specific Construction & Installation management.
Undertake Schedule Management.
Integrate Compliance (SHERQ) HSE; Risk and Quality Management in construction works.
Perform Site Administration Duties.

REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
State the minimum educational, qualifications and experience that are required to perform the job competently:
Minimal ND Technical Qualification (Electrical Heavy Current)
Minimal ND Technical Qualification (Control and Instrumentation)
Electrical Trade test (HC)
Site Technician experience on mining projects
10 years of experience as site E, C&I supervisor Mining/Process
Electrical installation project environment experience
Control and Instrumentation project environment experience
Installing, configuring, calibrating and maintaining control, measurement and indicating instrumentation (pneumatic, analog & digital)
Configuring and programming Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) and Programmable Automation Controllers (PAC)
Calibrating components and systems
Demonstrate a visible and active commitment personal well-being; healthy and safe workplaces and activities.
Inferred capability to improve WorleyParsons health, safety and environmental performance.
Attention to detail, strong problem solving and communication skills
Direct / forthright and honest.
COMPETENCIES OF THE JOB:
Computer Literacy i.e. MS Office including MS Projects.
Code 08 driver's license.
Appropriate formal Safety qualification in terms of the Occupational Health and Safety Act, and the Mine Health and Safety Health as amended.
Appropriate Environmental training.
Understanding of Quality Assurance principles and ability to implement/ ensure compliance.
Understanding of employment law: The Labour Relations Act and the Basic Conditions of Employment Act in particular.
