Role & Responsibilities
- Working with the technical managers and fleet management team, highlight areas of improvement
- Maintenance management for the vessels
- Training of ships ETO's to collect information/and make improvements
- Work with technical superintendents and discuss maintenance scheduling
- Regularly inspect the vessels, prepare inspection reports and submit to the technical management team
- Provide key support to the ship's staff in emergency situations
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Electrical/Electronics
- 6-8 years of experience in a similar capacity
- Knowledge of DP systems, DP reference systems, power management systems, alarm monitoring systems, transmitters, level monitoring systems, main engine controls and automation
- PLC programming skills; Schneider, Allen Bradley and Siemens PLC's
- Programming knowledge for DEIF control units
- Navigation equipment service experience; radar, gyro etc.
