Engineering Database Developer

The job:
An important part of the E&I design is to work with information made available by other disciplines. This information is further used in specific E&I design and by that used in a diversity of documents that are needed in a project by (a.o.) Procurement and Construction.

The documents are mainly received as AutoCAD and/or Excel files. The use of an engineering database gives the opportunity for a one time in, multiple out approach and therefore we are developing this with a Python based program.

The goal of this work is to assist the programmer in further development of the Python program to an engineering database for E&I with optional further development to other disciplines (such as Process, Piping, Structural). Setting up the final documentation for the program is also a part of the job.

Requested:
- You should have a relevant BSc education (Information Technology or Electrical).
- Affinity with E&I and engineering.
- You have relevant experience in setting up and/or maintaining engineering databases.
- You have to work with available software as ZODB, Python 3.x and AutoCAD.
- You have to be motivated, enthusiastic, have a healthy amount of common sense and be eager to learn and develop your skills within, but also outside your comfort zone.
- You should have a creative mind and have good analytical skills.
- Good command of English (Verbal and Written)
- You are already located in The Netherlands - Randstad Area (and eligable to work here).
