“TRS is looking for French / Non-French speaking Export Coordinators with a high level of mathematical understanding to join our Client’s Export Services team, an importer and leading supplier of fresh, frozen, and FMCG products for upcoming projects within the next six (6) months.”

JOB DESCRIPTION:
• This position would be responsible for executing the export transactions within the policies and guidelines of the company and provide assistance and back-up to the Business Development Managers.
• This position plays a key role in the liaison between the company, its suppliers, shippers and customers and carries the responsibility for maintaining high standards of competence, professionalism and service.

Key Responsibilities include the following:
• Respond to enquiries and provide quotes for potential and existing clients.
• Implement financial procedures for confirmed orders
• Execute confirmed orders / negotiate shipping and operational requirements / issue shipping instructions / supplier confirmation / documentation / stock control (expiry dates etc.) / shipping file cover / communication with clients / follow up on actual shipment
• Business Development Manager support and backup.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
• Accredited 3 year diploma or 4 year degree preferably or equivalent years of work experience in relevant field of work.
• French Speaking an advantage
• Good communication skills, written and verbal
• Working knowledge of the full Export process
• An excellent understanding of mathematics and numeracy
• An above average ability to work with numbers and a proven track record of doing so
• Computer literacy and a working knowledge of excel including formulas
• Working knowledge of export costings
• Working with exchange rates and foreign exchange would be preferable
• Knowledge of FMCG products
• Working knowledge of export documentation
• Knowledge of import requirements for certain countries including various inspections
